01 — The Crown Jewel
Waterside
Shops.
Southwest Florida’s premier luxury shopping destination — comparable to Chicago’s Michigan Avenue or New York’s Fifth Avenue in retail caliber. More than 60 specialty stores set in a beautifully landscaped open-air environment with tranquil water features, elegant fountains, and lush tropical greenery. The quintessential Naples luxury shopping experience.
Tucked behind the Artis–Naples complex off Route 41 in central Naples — barely visible from the road, which only adds to its allure as a discovery. Spend an afternoon browsing high-end fashion, fine jewelry, and luxury home goods before unwinding at one of the upscale dining options on site.

02 & 03 — The Soul of Naples
5th Avenue &
3rd Street South.
The two most celebrated shopping streets in Naples — and the heart of what makes this city unique. Both are walkable, palm-lined, open-air, and within a 5-minute stroll of each other and the beach. Here, the experience of browsing is as rewarding as the purchase.
5th Avenue South — Since the 1920s
The cosmopolitan heart of Naples — over 100 shops spanning upscale fashion, fine jewelry, art galleries, and specialty boutiques. Pedestrians roam freely among sophisticated boutiques and iconic storefronts. In the evening, galleries stay open late for monthly Art Walks, and live music drifts from restaurant terraces. Featured shopping categories include high-end fashion and accessories, custom jewelry, home décor, fine art, rare books, and curated lifestyle gifts.
📍 5th Ave S, Old Naples · Open daily · Art Walk monthly Nov–Apr
3rd Street South — Since the 1930s
The birthplace of Naples — just two blocks from the historic Naples Pier. Charming courtyards, antique fountains, colorful flowers, and alcove shops create one of the most intimate shopping environments in Southwest Florida. Boutique owners curate carefully: chic high fashion for day and evening, fine antiques, original art, and heirloom-quality gifts. The Saturday morning Farmer’s Market (mid-Nov to mid-Apr) is a beloved local tradition. Beautiful original beach cottages line the surrounding streets.

04 — The European Waterfront
The Village on
Venetian Bay.
Unlike any other shopping destination in Naples — The Village Shops on Venetian Bay is an architectural homage to Venice, Italy. Winding cobblestone pathways, scenic bridges, canals, and wrought-iron furniture create an atmosphere that is as much about the setting as the shopping. It is the perfect place to simply exist in Naples luxury.
Over 40 exclusively locally-owned boutiques — boutique owners travel the world to source one-of-a-kind fashions, accessories, and gifts. The center spans both sides of Gulf Shore Boulevard, connected by a beautifully decorated pedestrian underpass. On both sides, celebrated waterfront restaurants offer bay-view dining that elevates the shopping day into a full lifestyle experience.

📍 4200 Gulf Shore Blvd N, Park Shore · venetianvillage.com · Mon–Sat 10am–7pm · Sun 12–6pm
Why it stands apart
Every single boutique is independently owned and locally curated — nothing is a chain, nothing is predictable. Boutique owners personally travel to international markets in Europe, South America, and Asia to source merchandise. You will not find these pieces anywhere else in Florida.
05 & 06 — Two More Reasons to Shop Naples
Mercato & Tin City —
modern energy meets maritime soul.
05 — Mercato · North Naples
Urban Chic Meets Gulf Coast
Mercato represents the modern face of Naples retail — a sophisticated, upscale-urban lifestyle center in North Naples where trendy boutiques, popular brands, and a lively entertainment scene converge. The Silverspot Luxury Cinema offers large reclining leather chairs, full bar, and chef-driven dining during the film — a full evening in one destination. Fashion-forward stores, beauty, specialty dining, and the most vibrant night scene outside of 5th Avenue make Mercato the go-to destination for North Naples residents and visitors staying along Vanderbilt Beach Road.
Shopping: Nordstrom Rack · J. Crew · Tommy Bahama · Sephora · specialty boutiques
Dining & Entertainment: Blue Martini · multiple gourmet restaurants · Silverspot Cinema · live music

06 — Tin City · Naples Bay
Naples’ Maritime Heart
A historic waterfront marketplace on Naples Bay that celebrates the city’s maritime heritage with an eclectic, laid-back character all its own. Tin City is where you find the unexpected — nautical gifts, local craft, one-of-a-kind finds, and a waterfront atmosphere that feels genuinely Naples rather than curated for tourists. Pure Florida’s largest Gulf Coast fleet departs daily from here — sunset cruises, dolphin watches, shelling, and fishing charters. After shopping, dine at Riverwalk or Pinchers for fresh Gulf seafood with bay views.

The Art of Shopping in Naples
What you’ll find that you
can’t find anywhere else.
Naples attracts an unusually discerning retail audience — which means the merchandise available here reflects a level of curation and quality rarely found outside of a major metropolitan city.
💎
Fine Jewelry & Watches
Naples’ concentration of high-end jewelry and watch retailers is extraordinary for a city of its size. Van Cleef & Arpels, Tiffany & Co., Omega, Rolex, and multiple independent jewelers offer estate pieces, custom designs, and bespoke commissions. William Phelps Custom Jeweler at Venetian Village has been a Naples institution since 1988, offering handcrafted pieces and expert appraisals.
🖼️
Fine Art & Galleries
Naples has one of the most vibrant gallery scenes in Florida — with dozens of galleries representing artists of international caliber. Aldo Castillo Gallery, Native Visions, Emily James Gallery, and Sheldon Fine Art on 5th Avenue anchor a scene that includes Venetian Village galleries, Harmon Meek Modern, and Dominique Boisjolis Fine Art on 3rd Street. Monthly Art Walks bring collectors and artists together in the evenings during season.
🏡
Home Décor & Interior Design
Waterside Shops anchors Naples’ interior design shopping with Pottery Barn and Williams-Sonoma alongside high-end specialty stores. The Village on Venetian Bay offers unique home décor from boutique owners who source internationally. For those furnishing Naples luxury residences, the selection rivals top metropolitan markets — with the advantage of proximity to some of the finest interior designers in Southwest Florida.
The Insider’s Shopping Guide
How to shop Naples
like a local.
🌅 The Perfect Shopping Day
Start your morning at the Saturday Farmer’s Market on 3rd Street (7:30am, in season). Browse 3rd Street galleries by 10am before the crowds arrive. Coffee at 5th Avenue Coffee Company. Waterside Shops for serious luxury shopping from 11am. Lunch at one of the Venetian Village waterfront restaurants. Afternoon gallery walk on 5th Avenue South. Sunset at the Naples Pier before dinner on 5th. End at Mercato for live music.
📅 Best Times to Shop
Peak Season (Nov–Apr): Full inventory, new arrivals, Art Walks, and events. Most rewarding — but busiest. Arrive early or late afternoon to avoid peak crowds.
Summer (May–Oct): Quieter, more personal service, and occasional end-of-season sales. Waterside and boutique shops still fully open. The best time for unhurried browsing and genuine conversation with shop owners.
🚗 Getting Around
Downtown (5th & 3rd): Park once at Cambier Park or nearby garages — walk everywhere. Completely flat and pedestrian-friendly.
Waterside & Venetian Village: Each has its own parking. They’re 5 minutes apart — plan them together for a half-day.
Mercato: North Naples — dedicated parking, easy access. Combine with Waterside Shops in the same day.
